Role Overview
We seek a Compliance Manager (Policy & Risk Assessment) to join our Regulatory Compliance team in San Jose. This mid-senior role is pivotal in supporting risk assessments, regulatory change management, and ensuring compliance across global operations.
Key Responsibilities
Risk Assessment
- Standardize due diligence processes for bank partners, audits, and licensing applications.
- Mitigate risks by collaborating with the Issue Management team and tracking remediation efforts.
- Maintain and update compliance policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Develop qualitative/quantitative risk indicators and manage data collection for assessments.
- Oversee GRC tool integration and maintain the Enterprise Risk Assessment Calendar.
Regulatory Change Management
- Implement workflows for regulatory horizon scanning and mapping.
- Assess evolving regulatory requirements and coordinate third-party vendor relationships.
- Create training materials and reports on global regulatory updates.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in regulatory compliance within fintech, financial services, or Big 4 firms.
- Skills: Analytical, detail-oriented, and adept at managing complex workflows.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in STEM, business, law, or related fields.
- Traits: Proactive, self-motivated, and strong organizational capabilities.
